Dr. Mark Hanby on Personal Growth

Most of us are trying to enhance our lives through more education, better employment opportunities, finer amenities, etc. Setting short and long term goals for personal advancement is wise only within the context of this spiritual admonition “but seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matt 6:33). You may also want to review Luke 12:31-32 which states “it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.”

AMEN! ALL things WORK together FOR OUR GOOD. BALANCE IN THIS LIFE IS THE KEY. Eternal things work without labor or the arm of the flesh. Fruit manifest whether good or bad. Either way we have a harvest that produces, hopefully it will be desirable for the natural and the spirit! ~SELAH!~

For me, fulfilling God’s purpose for my life has become paramount. His Word is a light unto my path (reveals my destiny) and is a lamp unto my feet (just shows me how to take today’s first step that He has ordered.) So much energy has been used in the planning for our futures and much of what Today offers has been ignored and that is the reason that we trip up so often. Though a righteousness fall 7 times, yet the Lord will raise him up. What is God saying to me today?

The next to the last sentence should have read, ‘though a righteous man fall 7 times, yet the Lord will raise him up. My mind over raced my fingers. Smile.

I like what you had to say Dickey. Planning for my future I see is properly planning my placement into a God ordered destiny for me and those under my influence.

When I rise in the morning, my steps are ordered by God. What I say, the things I do, the places I go – I believe are exactly in line with God’s purpose for my life. It is amazing when you just live and let God do. He will work through you in just ordinary, everyday events in your life. Whether it be taking a meal to an elderly shut-in, or sharing the good news with a person you meet in the department store. Relax and God does direct you in all your ways.

perhaps this is not the format to talk about but could not find spot on quantuim life to ask question. How is the concept heaven NOW different then transcendentalism. No question that Jesus transended between the heaven and earthly plane and I know that we at moments have transended . I belive that the Lord has given us people to disciple love the broadcast 3′s makes scense.

Heaven, in the context of your question, is in the 3rd dimension of the Tabernacle of Moses which is the grandfather clause of New Testament truth. Transcendentalism is the pursuit of truth through logical reasoning rather than factual observation per the dictionary. Reasoning or logic is part of the carnal mind and cannot enter into the 3rd dimension or into the Holy of Holies. That is why John, in the book of Revelation, saw the souls of them under the golden altar. The golden altar was in the 2nd dimension

You are correct. Many have transcended into the Heavenly realm, and that experience is described in Scripture as being “caught up”. Paul was caught up to the 3rd Heaven. This is the place that we are speaking about. John was caught up in the 4th chapter of the Book of Revelation. I know of several saints who have been caught up and have been allowed to speak of some of the things that they have seen.

Jesus transcending time and transcendentalism are two entirely different things. Transcendentalism has its roots in Eastern Religion,(eastern thought).

Isn’t that that the transcendental meditation thing? Kinda new age thing? I think the Hare
          Krishna follow it? (spelling)

We realize that the separation or the ripping of the curtain in the between the holy of holy gives us accesses to the inner chamber ie. to GOD’S presense but as GOD cannot be limited to anyone place that his presence fills the heaven and the heaven of heavens.and dwells in our hearts. So if I could ask a question if heaven is now then give us a example of a practical application of who is living in it and who has atanded the finish product . It seems we want to say we are living to atanded heaven preparing or he has prepared so where is the example of someone living it.Who in history. who now .IF you say you are then give me example please. Thanks for the exmple of PAUL and john I ALSO know of those who has experienced this what I am talking about is not the pie in the sky type heaven traditional thought but to understand exactly what is it that is different .PLACE ME ON THE BOARD SO TO SPEAK.thanks

SCOTT thanks for responding eastern religion is no longer just eastern that is why the question if it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck then its most likely a duck. I said sounds like because we are living now like if we think or meditate sounds like transcendentalism looking for a naverna so called heaven .I know this is not what we are talking about so we are talking here and now .WHERE .in our heart, mind, what is the outside force what is that final day.
