After the publication of his bestselling book, You Have Not Many Fathers, which focused on the Elijah-Elisha principle of spiritual fathering, there was a cry for connection and kingdom mentoring across the nation and around the world. In response to this need, Dr. Hanby founded Father's Heart Family in 1993. Father's Heart Family has grown throughout the years as ministry sons and daughters have been drawn to Mark's ministry and message. Father's Heart Family has grown internationally to include a present focus on Father's Heart South Africa and Father's Heart Mexico. Each year, Mark and Tess host a Father's Heart Family Gathering in North Texas on beautiful Lake Lewisville. (Check out the Events page for more information.)
Mark continues to travel and produce online resources, and Tess is involved daily with Father's Heart and Mark Hanby Ministries efficiently overseeing administration and planning. Mark and Tess live in North Texas near their children and grandchildren.
